Divisible

For two people sharing a home

A shared week.
A lighter load.

Divisible splits the week’s tasks between the two of you, from choices you each make between two tasks at a time. Every assignment says why, and the plan you both approve goes into Apple Calendar.

For iPhone and iPad. Free to download, with your first week free.

How it works

  1. List the week.

Add up to 40 whole tasks with their time, effort, and what counts as done. Or start from 68 ready-made tasks in 13 categories, with cleaning room by room: a daily tidy, a weekly clean, and a monthly deep clean.

  2. Choose, don’t rate.

Each of you picks between two tasks at a time, or says you’d be equally happy with either. Five tasks take seven choices each, and even a long list stops at 24.

  3. Agree on the split.

Divisible finds the split closest to the share you agreed on, equal by default, and says why each task went where it did, quoting your own choices. Swap any task and the rest rebalances. Then you both approve.

In your calendar.

Add every task, or just yours, to Apple Calendar with an alert, or share a calendar file. Each event starts with its owner’s name, like “Alex: Clean the kitchen”, and its notes list what counts as done. The Today widget shows who’s doing what today.

One phone, or two.

Take turns answering on one iPhone or iPad, or each answer on your own phone, with a shared Apple calendar carrying the week between you. Each phone answers for its own person, and both see the same split.

Around your busy times.

Choose calendars for Divisible to read, and a task that lands on one person’s busy time goes to the other. Start an event’s title with a name, like “Sam: Late shift”, to block just that person. When your choices and the balance leave it open, you take turns day by day.

Private by design.

There’s no account, server, analytics, advertising, or tracking. Your week is saved on your device, and with two phones it travels only through the calendar you share.

Your first week is free.

Divisible is free to download, and your first week is free, from the first task to Calendar. After that, one purchase, Plan Every Week, unlocks every week: $9.99 in the US, with no subscription. Family Sharing covers everyone in your family, and with two phones only one of you needs it.

Requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. On iPhone Duo, each screen opens into two pages.
